I recently built a PC, and everything is working very well. I use it for gaming and I can play all of the games i want to. But i just realized i didnt install my motherboard drivers, i just saw the disc on my table. So do i need to install it, or am i ok because everything is working fine. I looked around online and people have said there are a lot of files, so IF i do need to install the drivers what files do i need? My motherboard is a gigabyte h81m-h. Thanks any help would be appreciated.

Windows will install all the default drivers it has built in, it's generally a good idea to install the drivers from the mobos website, as the mobo makers often enhance the basic drivers with their own little add ons that help the devices and chipsets play better with their BIOS. As mentioned above the CD that came with the mobo are probably already outdated ;)
You should install the motherboard driver. The disc will contain some outdated drivers. You can get the more recent by visiting the motherboard's driver page to download them.

Main thing you need is the Audio , lan and chipset. The rest is optional. If you are using the integrated graphics you may want to download the graphic drivers from Intel directly. If you have a dedicated graphic card, go to Nvidia/AMD driver website for the most recent driver version.

Yeah since my LAN is working that must be what happened. I don't think i will mess with anything. How can i know if windows installed my chipset and SATA, or would it have installed them all?

The driver from website of the manufacturer could be better than those standard drivers of Windows. They are better optimized and newer. Its highly recommended to install them. Look in the Device-Manager (or something similiar called, I don't know it, I'm from Linux system online).
