I have a 980Ti.
My three monitors have DVI, D-sub, and HDMI.
All are the same.
1080p.

On my 980Ti, I have (3) DisplayPort, (1) HDMI, and (1) DVI.

I have 3 VGA cables and 3 DVI.

I'm wondering how I should plug these monitors in.
What would give me the best performance?
And I believe I may want to combine all three monitors into one, and play a game that way.

Do I keep DVI? Do I purchase HDMI?
Now I have (3) DisplayPort ports left.
Do I use DVI and convert to DisplayPort?
OR do I use HDMI and convert to DisplayPort?

I have a choice - HDMI to DP, or DVI to DP.
I do have DVI-Dual Link on the monitors.
Would that work better than HDMI?

It does not matter - you are not going to get any better frame rate by using any interface over any of the others, so use whatever you can accommodate.

Using VGA may cause image quality degradation from the digital-analog-digital double-conversion, so you should avoid that option if this might bother you.

I would use 1x HDMI + 1x DVI + either 1x DP-to-DVI or DP-to-HDMI adapter, whichever you prefer.

I have three displays connected to my PC using HDMI+DP+DVI.
