While playing GTAV my computer has randomly shut down and the other time the screen went dark and the audio went glitchy. Also to note, when my computer is shut down,(PSU still switched on) the computer has turned off as if the switch was off and I have to flip the switch to be able to use it again. This only happens sometimes.
I have tried running 3Dmark with SLI enabled and it starts flashing this black/white gradient, RGB, and the like. Running without SLI it works fine.
So far I have reseated my RAM, GPU's, and cleared my CMOS.
UPDATE: Tested CPU with Intel Proc Diag Tool. Passed all.
Tested both cards seperately. They both work fine.
Still in the same boat.
It seems like my PSU but I'm not sure if it could be anything else. I used the PCPartpicker wattage call and it gave me ~700. Well under my 1000w PSU.

UPDATE2: Before my motherboard was throwing the D4 code, and later it went backto A0. Now it is back to D4. D4 means "PCI resource allocation error. Out of Resources"

EDIT: Thought I should note, I have had my second card for a while before noticing these problems.
Also, my voltages are slightly above in Gigabyte System Information Viewer
3.3V = 3.344V
12V = 12.024V
5V = 5.07V

Thanks in advance.

I will try that in the morning. Could - faulty GPU really cause my computer to lock up and shut down like that? They were both working in SLI for about a month before this.

Not sure, but given you said one was older than the other, its worth a shot.

Tried it. Both work fine. Did 3D mark and was given fairly similar scores too(One has a backplate, other does not).
