what should be the maximum length of ethernet cat6 wire for data transfer

i fixed a wire from a DSL Router, the length of that wire is 100fts.... for some days the wire is working but after some days the wire is not working yet... is this is problem of long length of wire or other????

Could you tell us the model/brand of your ADSL Router? Maybe it's not able to negotiate correctly with cat6 cables. You should try a Cat5e cable, it would get the speeds without problem and probably your router has no problem with it.
