Question about PPI

I have a Samsung Syncmaster 2043BW, 20 inch TN, 1680x1050 which has a ppi of 99, now i want to buy an 24 inch monitor, IPS and 1080P, which is an ppi of 92 ppi.
Is my Syncmaster better for playing the Witcher 3 and Skyrim?
