I have 2 Corsair VS450. I want to use one VS450 to run the motherboard and HDD and the other VS450 to run 2 Sapphire R9 270 graphics cards. Will it break anything?
It can be done but it's not the safest thing in the world. I'd recommend against it because you need to make sure you load balance correctly aswell as not crossloading a unit, its easier and safer just to get a single better unit for your system

Dont do it. Cheaping out on a PSU is one thing, as is running an insufficient unit. Dont make things harder, and chances are worse, by cheaping out even more by running two insufficient units.
