After I first power up in the morning it will run fine for a couple of hours and then suddenly just shuts down completely without any warmning. If powered on again right away it will boot and may work fine for an hour and just shuts off like no power to the desktop.

I have replace the power chord, power strip, power supply, memory and also used another outlet, Reseated the processor with new heat sink paste. Monitored using the HW software that reports CPU/Fan Speed/ Temperature etc. Event viewer log does not give any reports.
My guess is there maybe a short on the motherboard?
Has Intel E6500 processor 2.93GHZ / Gskill 4gb Memory DDR3 1333 and Seagate 1TB drive.

Wow. Well it sounds like you have already done a lot of the trouble shooting steps already. If you have not replaced the motherboard, it is possible it may be the issue.

Do you know the make, model, and wattage of the power supply?
