What gaming computer can I buy or build with around $1000? I'm not really a PC gamer and won't be playing games all the time with it so I don't want a very expensive computer if I won't be using it everyday. I have never build a PC before so I'm a little hesitant with the idea. If I were going to go down that path, what parts should I buy for my $1000 budget? If I were to buy a pre-built PC, which brand should I get and which PC would you recommend? I do want windows 10. Thanks in advance for your help.

This build will guarantee for you a perfect 1080p experience, and regarding how to buy PC parts you should always specify your needs, from casual gaming to extreme gaming and video editing, and then you choose the parts that you know they are suitable for your needs, after that think of the budget and if the chosen parts exceeds your limit then make an attempt to choose a cheaper build, let's say you have picked an i7 but you think that nah it's a little too much so you move back for i5 but still the budget is exceeded at this point do not go back for an i3 instead try to think for alternative for another component like getting 8gb Ram instead of 16 and then gtx 960 instead of gtx 970 and so on until you manage to get the right build...

If you decided to go for a pre-built PCs then you have multiple choices, and to me the best of them are: Newegg DIY PC Combos , ibuypower , cyberpower

Hope you find it useful.
