New SSD Upgrade, Moving windows

Hi,

A retailer quite close to my home has a deal selling a 250gb Samsung EVO SSD for $100 off and I am going to purchase it

What i am asking for is how I will move my OS to the SSD and use my 1tb HDD for mass storage for things like steam games

2 options, clean install or a clone operation.

Cloning - you must reduce the total used space on the C partition to below 200GB.
Then, any of the current cloning tools will do this. Easus Todo, Acronis Trueimage, Casper, Macrium Reflect.

Clean install - You'll need your install media and the valid license key. And the install files for all your other stuff.

How large is the SSD? 250GB
How much total used space is on the current C partition?

250gb SSD and there's about 350GB of data of my HDD

I would suggest cloning but you need to reduce the data on your HDD by 150GB or so.
