Is it necessary to connect the monitor through the I/O port in the card to get the best performance? or just fixing the GPU to the motherboard and connecting the monitor through the I/O in the motherboard do the purpose?
I asked this because, I am upgrading my PC. My monitor only have VGA connection. The Graphic card which I am planning to buy only have DVI, HDMI and Display port in it. I have no plans to change the monitor for the time being, may be until it stops working or a good 300ppi monitor which I can afford comes to the market.
Please Help
