I had just recently got an Intel Core i7-3770 processor to replace my i5-2500k. I got it, plugged it in and immediately knew something was wrong. I booted it up, my screens wouldn't turn on, then I got 4 beeps which is something to do with the new hardware piece (3770) not being compatible. My bios update is really old (0402, it's in the 3ks now). What I need is to find bios compatible to update my system, but I have not been able to find any for my P8P67 PRO. Being the original model (the first model released, not a revision), I can only find different revisions of the board and not ones that work with the og board. I thought I had found some and I got the error "image integrity check failure" along with it saying that it isn't efi bios. If anyone has any info, please share it. Thank you.

My motherboard is the origional one. I've tried the revs, but none of them work, I get that image integrity check failure error and when I looked that error up, it said it was because the bios was wrong. I need the original P8P67 PRO mobo bios, and all I can find are revisions, and when I think I got something it says the file isn't an efi bios update.

I'm using asus's EZ Flash utility, it's right in the bios itself. I have the disc and tried that, but it was really old and confusing and didn't end up working.

I'm kinda confused at what you're saying, are you saying to update my ez flash utility?

I tried the AI suite and that didn't work, but I'm still trying to figure my way around the first thing you said. I just get a "image integrity check failure" error and I have no idea why. It makes no sense to me
