Hi everyone.

I have an older pc:
ASROCK H55M-LE (http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H55M-LE/)
intel i3-550
msi gtx 660
original working ram: kingston hyperx 2x2GB DDR3 (khx1600c9d3k2/4gx)

new ram: kingston hyperx savage CL9 2x4GB (HX316C9SRK2/8)

I recently bought new ram as an upgrade, but I can't get it to post with both ram stuck in. I tried it with just one of the new sticks and the pc boots and I can get to BIOS.
Is there anyway to get them running both?

I tried:
updating bios to version 1.8 but it did not help.
clearing CMOS

Thank you very much. Any help is very apreciated

Solution
The Hyper X Savage are made with high density memory ICs, which aren't compatible with many of the older mobo chipsets. Might look at the original Ripjaws (not the X or Z lines) from GSkill or their NT series of DRAM
