Hi guys I'm new here to the site and to the pc gaming.

My current setup is
Motherboard gigabyte 78lmt usb3
Cpu amd fx4100 black edition
Ram corsair 2x2gb
Graphics on board
Psu corsair cm430

I use it mostly for my plex server but now I want rid of my xbox one and build a plex server and gaming rig in one.

The case I getting is the silverstone ml03b

But I not clued up on graphics cards and was looking at the gigabyte 750 ti low profile 2gb ddr5 as it's been reviewed well for a low profile card.

So if I install that and replace the ram for 2x4gb corsair vengeance would that be good enough to run games like call of duty battlefield?

I'm not a hardcore gamer anymore so I don't want to spend a fortune as it's just to replace the xbox..

Sorry for rambling on but what are people's thoughts on the idea?

Thanks

Thanks for your input. So I wouldn't get away with a quad core? The fx6300 was the chip I originally wanted for my current build but I got 4100 dirt cheap so went for that.

Well after doing some measurements and shuffling I can now go for a slightly bigger case so I hopefully wouldn't need a low profile gfx so what's a good card that's in the £100 range?

Yeah ebay is my first place to go once I have a particular thing in mind but like i say I'm not clued up on graphics card and pc gaming. Ideally my machine would need to run plex and play call if duty black ops 3 on high/ultra and something that will last a couple of years. I don't mind paying more if I know it's will last yet I don't mind paying little but only lasting the year.

Except that GPU would fry their low end PSU. OP, you really need a new PSU also.

From what I've found I can do just fine with my current setup and adding that case and low profile graphics card.

Think its setup I'm going for now I don't want to go over kill as it might not be what I'm looking for. Then next year if it's what I like I will do a whole new build as so far from what's said on changes the only original component is my motherboard lol.
