My APU is dying maybe?

Recently I started to get buzzing/screeching sounds when launching a game, the screeching sound would appear only for a second or two before a game is fully launched, I thought it was a software glitch, so I decided to ignore it. But today as I was playing World of Warcraft, suddenly a loud screeching sound appeared and it continued like for 5-10 seconds and then WoW just crashed without any error message, I think it could be my A8-6600K APU dying, as I had such screeching sounds on an old PC before its CPU died.

Your help much appreciated! :)

CPU's don't make noise, however the fan does. Its possible the fan is spinning up because of CPU load and the bearings are going bad. This is an easy fix, just buy a new heatsink for example:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103107&ignorebbr=1&cm_re=FM2%2b_heatsink-_-35-103-107-_-Product

Open up your case and listen closely if its coming from the fan. If the fan isn't working well it will overheat and crash too.

Something else that will make noise? A dying hard drive, listen closely to that seperately as well.

I forgot to mention that this screeching sound is coming from the speakers sound and not from the PC its self, so it's not possible the fan to interact with my PC sound card. It has to be something else. Bu thanks for your reply. Also this screeching sound is like distortion as if bad channel from radio is playing.

Ok yeah thats a huge difference.

If you're using onboard sound then this very well could be a motherboard issue, otherwise its a sound card problem, and lastly it could be a power supply issue.

Can you post your full system specs?

Do you notice any other problems?

Mb: Asrock FM2A55M-VG3
CPU: A8-6600K
RAM: 6GB 1600Mhz (2gb 1600Mhz+4GBMhz)
HDD: SG 500GB 7200RPM
PSU: Thermal Master 500W 20 amps +12V 65% efficiency (TM-500-PSAP-I3)

That is my whole system spec, my PSU is not the best, as it came with the Case, so it's a cheap one, I saw it to be sold for like 20 euro somewhere.
I also use Windows 10 x64, so I was thinking to move to Windows 7 x64 in order to see if this issue happens there as well, and what I found was that now I cannot even move to Windows 7. Cuz when I tried to boot my DVD in order to install this operating system after the loading it gets stuck on the Windows 7 logo with an artifact around the logo. Strange thing is that it does not happen when attempting to boot Windows 10 DVD. I have also been using windows 7 before on this PC and installed it without problem, but this time something is wrong and gets stuck with this artifact, I have a video that shows how it looks:

http://www.4shared.com/video/1Dsg-OK4ce/vid007.html

Also early this summer, my PC had a BSOD and it showed artifacts on the blue screen, and went to the shop where I bought it from as it has warranty, and I told them about this BSOD with artifacts, but they did not believe me as I did not have a screenshot of this event, but this time it shows clearly that something is wrong.

Yeah so based on what you said I would say its extremely likely to be your PSU. Artifacts, strange sounds, etc, are all symptoms of power issues.

You want to look for an EVGA 550 GS or G2, or the XFX TS 550, or Seasonic SII 520

Well with what I have, I can only spend like 50 euro for a power supply and there is only the 600W Cooler Master B600 V2. A friend told me that he is using this power supply and had no issues so far. As I'm also planning to get a R7 360 AMD GPU for smoother gaming compare to my current integrated GPU in APU and this PSU will be good for powering this GPU.

I'm familiar with that PSU, its passable, but really not that good. Its low quality and has low quality capacitors. I mean anything is better than the one you have, but you really should consider trying to get a few more euros together to buy something I have suggested.

Fortron is junk.

Can you maybe find yourself an Antec VP or VPF? Corsair CS or RM series? Or Coolermaster G series?

Not really, they are above the acceptable price for me, I'm gonna take the Cooler Master B600, and hopefully will get the job done. Anyway thanks for trying to help, and thanks for the quick replies. =)
