Looking for Q87 motherboards. Will a haswell refresh work out of the box with a Q87 chipset since it's an 8 series not a 9 series chipset?

Hello... Doubt it... It depends on if the MB has a CPU compatibility listed for it and a BIO's update for it... and you would need a working older compatible CPU type to Update the BIO's to the NEWER CPU model.
That's what I thought. Thank you.
Fortunately I found a H97 server board that will work with haswell refresh anyways.
