If I were to swap out my laptops M.2 broadband card for an M.2 solid state drive,
while the laptop was on
and then tried to reboot,
would the laptop be fried?
If you have already done this, did it work? If you have not already done this, why would you try it?
What does your laptop say about hotswap?
It's weird because I can't find any information about it being hot-swap able, probably because they don't suspect you of doing it. But if I mistakenly had thought my laptop was off, if it was asleep, and I needed to use 3G, then I just wanted to know if I accidentally replaced them while they were on if they would render my laptop useless.
