So I just built a new pc but i am seeing no framerate change at all when running games in SLI mode.

i have two PNY 960GTX 2gb vram, 6th gen i5 3.5ghz, and 8gb ddr4, extreme 6 mobo, and toshiba ssd.

The problem is when i run games like the witcher 3 or assassins creed unity i see absolutely no change in fps when SLI or not. i know i have everything set up right in the nVidia control panel. is there somethign in bios i might have not set up? Please help. i dont want to have spent $200 on a second video card for nothing.

Some games don't work well or aren't optimized for dual+ GPU's and could give less performance than having a single card. For example, in Wolfenstein: New Order, a GTX 960 SLI performs worse than an GTX 960 single card.
