At home, i have a old optiplex 745. Would i be able to switch the current gpu (radeon x600/550 series secondary) with a radeon r7 240? i believe my psu is 300w, cpu is core duo e6300, 2 gb ddr2 ram.

Solution
The Radeon R7 240 should draw 46 Watts or less so the existing power supply should have no problem with that.

The card should have no problem fitting into that BTX form factor computer case.

I don't see any reason why that motherboard won't be able to run that card.
