inter light of 865 board hpcompaq is blinking please provide a solution

internal light of my computer p-4 hpcompaq desktop is blinking power button is not functioning

If it's a P4 system, very likely the motherboard or power supply are bad, test another power supply and look over the motherboard for issues with capacitors.
