Will an i5-750 CPU bottleneck a Radeon R7 260X?

I'm looking at upgrading the graphics card on an old gaming desktop that I built years ago. It's now mostly used for browsing/printing/Facebook games, but the current graphics card has started to fritz (causing weird display errors and faults that require a restart) so I was hoping to replace the faulty part and breathe some new life into the system at the same time. In terms of recent games, I'm aiming for "playable at medium settings and 1080p," not "stunningly beautiful". Currently I've got an Nvidia GeForce GT 630, and I was thinking of replacing it with a Radeon R7 260X. I can get that for AUD$150, which is really the most I'm looking at spending.

I'm using a Gigabyte P55A-UD3 motherboard with an i5-750 processor. My question: will my CPU bottleneck the 260X? I would consider dropping down to a lesser graphics card (maybe the 250X?) if the 260X is overkill.

Thanks in advance!
