btw my case is iball stella PC cabinet and here is the link-http://www.iball.co.in/Product/STELLA/817#

and it's dimensions are 14.0 (H) x 7.3 (W) x 14.3 (D) inch btw will any atx psu fit in my case without any problems of insatllin heat or ventelation problem?

ATX specification is mostly an electrical one when it comes to PSUs. Height and width of the PSU should be fine, the main issue is that without knowing the maximum length clearance of the PSU slot it'll be hard to know. Usually 5-7" PSUs work with even smaller cases, but all depends on your particular combination.

And I would suggest never using that PC case company again, they have absolutely no information available!

How much should be the clearance between PSU and motherboard please help me?

More than a negative number ;)

Generally the issue is that there are obstructions that limit the PSU length (grooves, panels, screws, etc), but if the only thing between the PSU and the motherboard is air, generally you'll want no less than 2 inches between the back and the motherboard. Everything depends on where the PSU is (again, that garbage of a maker for your case doesn't even say where the PSU is mounted!), how flexible the PSU cables are, and how much overlap between the cables and motherboard you are comfortable with.

If you haven't purchased the case yet or have enough left over for a new case, please just scrap that thing for one from a reputable company (literally a dozen better companies out there), and then it becomes very easy because basically every reputable company gives you full schematics.

by the way I have purchased this case and I don't wan to change this now and the PSU is top mounted

Well, you're on your own from here on out, only thing left to do is measure the internal distances and do the math. Most likely a 5.5" psu will end up working, but if your case has only space for 5", you WILL need a new one.

Since it's top mounted, most likely the clearance will be between the optical drive and psu

what do you mean by 5.5" is it length breadth or height of the case?
