been getting this the last couple of days. my pc randomly freezes and gets a bsod thats saying whea_uncorrectable_error when i restart i get black screen and i need to get into safe mode first and then restart to make it work(used to happen after cold boots too) or go into my bios menu before i get into windows and safe and continue to get into windows. also my time and date will always be messed up not sure what could be causing this but any help would be nice

my specs:
fx6300@4.1ghz
8gb ram
cx430 psu
msi gtx960 2gb

edit: i'm really sorry but i just saw that i posted this under windows 8 but i have windows 10 not sure if it matters or how to move it

OK. seems like your overclock is unstable. try running Prime95, if you get an error, then you will have to adjust your oc a bit more. Either you need more voltage, lower frequency etc etc. do it in increments, you cant just turn off Turbo Boost and set it to 4.1Ghz, gotta do stock speed and increments, if you get a error, increase voltage little at a time.

yes it is. i turned off the turbo boost and set the multiplier to 4.1ghz which is the same as the turboboost gets to.
