Thinking about a new disk management tool and realizing ill need to spend a little money for it. I am familiar with Acronis Disk Director. Any thoughts? Opinions? Recommendations? Im not really a noobie but not really an expert either.

It would be helpful to know exactly what you are hoping to use the software for. Many features of paid Disk Management Tools can be found for free.

Example: if you wanted Acronis Disk Director for cloning, you could use something like Clonezilla for free. If you wanted it for partition management, that feature is already available within Windows for free.

I certainly want and need to clone but also for drive cleansing, partitioning and resizing, back up imaging. And i do want to learn all i can about how the hard drive works and what i can do with it.
