I have this system and a Seasonic M12II Evo 750w. First, i though that my system will shut down because my PSU was not enough. My system doesn't shuted down even while gaming underload but i think it's pushing his limits while is underload. The fan is so loud and this is not normal. Should i change to Cooler Master v850 +80 GOLD CERTIFIED to avoid any problem or damage in my system? Also i see that my frame rate in some games is not good and maybe is my PSU. Is that posible? My PSY is causing damage and drops in FPS of my games? Pls help me!!

Solution
The Corsair AX is equivalent in quality to the EVGA. You could go higher 1000w would not be overkill as that processor is power hungry and if you ever decide to crossfire the extra power would be helpful.

The Seasonic you have is VERY high quality, that said, the 9590 needs a LOT of power especially with a 290X. I would consider a bigger PSU but not the Coolermaster. The EVGA 850G2 is far better quality.

You aren't going to break anything but you may have stability issues eventually.

Yes i think i have stability issues! I forgott to say that. Is the EVGA the best brand of 850 right now? Is more than 850 an overkill for my system? Do you recomend me a 850 or more than 850?
And what about Corsair AX860?

Ok thanks. Then, if i take for example 850w, will be my system stable or i have to get 1000w? Getting 1000w is not a problem for me but i just wanna know if my system can be stable even with 850w.

The system can be stable at 850w, however if you can get a good deal, I would go for 1000 to be sure. It seems excessive but the 9590 takes 220w at full tilt which is huge compared to any other processor.

Your current PSU has ample power for your rig IMO.

That CPU/GPU may just pull 550w max if both components are fully under 100w stress .

Seeing as this is never likely to happen & even if it did you'd still have 100w clear on the 12v rail

What yphbhve is 2 components that throw furnace like heat out - how do you know the issue doesn't lie with case airflow & cooling - you haven't posted any other specs at all.

He did say his system is not shutting down under load which is where a heat issue would show itself.

AMD also specifically recommends the use of a 1000w PSU because the processor socket is rated at 220w alone, has the ability to pull 3x the standard amount of power from the 8 pin cpu connector, and it has a liquid cooler. The processor as tested can pull as high as 310 watts on a spike.

I will concede that under load his VRM's may be getting too hot and may require a fan blowing across them, but that doesn't discount that he still needs more power. After fixing the first problem he can move on to the second one.

Ok my system:

CPU: AMD FX 9590
GPU: R9 290x Matrix Platinum
RAM: 2x 8GB DDR3 2133MHz = 16GB
MB: ASRock 990FX Extreme9
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB
CPU Cooler: CM Seidon 120XL installed in REAR of the case
Case: CM Storm Enforcer + Extra fan 200mm

I THINK I HAVE GOOD CASE AND GOOD AIRFLOW.

They are indeed good components - if anything I personally dont think the 120xl is really good enough for a 9590 - its about as good as a stock amd cooler is on a 8320/8350 - meaning 'just barely' capable.

Are you sure it's your PSU fan that is being worked hard & not the radiator fan??

Personally I still think your current PSU is good enough - there should not be any issues with it.
