I have been building a pc for a friend, it all got build perfectly fine, until we tried booting into the BIOS. What happened was we pressed the prompted DEL or F2 keys (tried them both) on the Asus splash screen, instead of going into the BIOS, it just freezes on a black screen.
Apart from that it boots fine into windows.
We have tried moving the CMOS jumper cap onto the other pins and then back onto the original ones.
We have tried removing and putting the CMOS battery back in.
We have tried some other little things too.
The build is:
HyperX 8GB RAM
ASUS m5a97 r2.0 motherboard
R9 270X GPU
FX 6300 CPU
1tb WD HDD
Corsair Spec03 Case
Sending the motherboard back isnt an option
