What would be the best OS for a pc with those specification? I would maybe like if it is Linux based but that really doesn't matter too much.
Celeron CPU 1.60GHz
192 MB of Ram

I don't remember the size of the hard drive but I think it is about 50 GB so it should be ok for most OS. I want to change to an OS to have it run a little bit faster. My goal would be to run the Arduino IDE from it and upload to my arduino, if it is possible.

Tried DamnSmallLinux, I liked it(need to get used to linux!) I am currently running it from my usb I need this usb. I looked how to install it on the hard drive, look easy, create a partition, run program, wait, installed! The problem is, I want to keep my windows partition for maybe future uses but I don't find a way to resize it. So, should I make a live CD or try to find a way to resize the partition and install it on the drive? Any help?

Just run it from a LiveCD for now.
What Windows OS, and what size is the drive?
