I have a CM Storm Quickfire TK MX Blue that I got off a friend. Since he had it, the D key would sometimes not work and other times activate multiple times, so just pressing it once would result in "ddd" or something similar.

Is there a way that I can fix this? Because as a programmer, it's extremely difficult to program and have a key not work properly.

Solution
I believe those keys pull off directly up, and you have close access to cleaning the actual contact that's gummed up. With keyboard detached from PC, try that (gently, and search Google for help), and use an rubbing alcohol on a q-tip to clean. Shake dry and fire it up when you're sure all liquid has evaporated.
