Hey tomshardware, to start with i'll say that yes I have tried all of the things on the sticky about what to do for no post/startup with no luck. My system started fine (I didn't have a monitor connected when i started it so i dont actually know if it got to BIOS or what happened but it appeared to be running fine... fans were spinning, Graphics Card illumination was working, and PSU fan was spinning. Now, being a dumbass, i bumped the motherboard on accident and because i set it up on the motherboard's anti static bag to test the hardware the graphics card hung below the motherboard on the end and when i bumped it, the graphics card popped out of the PCI-E slot and the system went kaput. Now, it wont start up at all. Literally nothing happens when i short out the power SW pins. Nothing. The 24-pin has a little LED next to it that illuminates when it has power and it is illuminated. I don't know what to do at this point. My build is here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/6vQjrH . This is only my second time building a PC and as you can all imagine i am very scared i screwed it up and may not be able to send whatever is messed up back for RMA if that is the case. All suggestions are welcome, thank you.

You must've hit it very hard for your whole Graphics card to pop out. You said you tried everything on the sticky now i'm assuming

-you also tried running your computer without the Graphics card (high probability that its shorted and dead)
-shut off the power supply drain the system of power and then test it
- reset the CMOS battery by taking it out or if there's a CMOS jumper use that

If you haven't done any of this do it, it looks like it's simply the Motherboard and graphics card that received damage but we aren't even sure if the system POSTed. Not sure why you would turn it on without the monitor connected?

No it doesnt boot, Is it definite that if it isn't booting at that point that it is the mobo?

Are there any beeps?
There should be different beeps if there's a specific error. (If you have a speaker plugged in)(Many MB's come with a small one for this purpose)

But yeah, if you shorted it and right after that it doesn't works there's a good change the MB is fried.
Maybe try to RMA (You might want to refrain from telling them you shorted it), maybe they'll cover it.

it didnt completely pop out, the side that doesnt have the little locking clip thing popped out and it shut down. My dad had taken my monitor and was disconnecting it to give it to me and i just turned it on thinking it would be fine. Literally it was just a little bump. OMG OK I TOOK OUT THE LITTLE BATTERY and it works now but the monitor isnt getting a signal and at first the warning lights that this MOBO comes with that light up when something is wrong was flashing the DRAM light but now it isnt. It turned on then turned off then back on again and its still on right now what should I do?

it's either separate or on the motherboard itself

I posted the PC part picker link in the original post... its the MSI Z170A Krait Edition
Edit: no it does not but i have a little beep speaker from another build I did... I have no idea where it would connect on this MOBO though. Its got a 4 pin in line connector like a fan connector has.

That was a bit hard to read lol.
One would think something is up with the RAM then. Make sure you have the RAM well in place and in the right lanes. Maybe just to be sure take them out and put them in again to be sure.

Take a look at the temps there.
If they are fine just go ahead and start installing your OS

well if you can get into BIOS then you really shouldn't worry much lol cause that means it POSTS.. thought you said that the monitor had no signal XD anyways go ahead and install everything you can check your Graphics card later in device manager/BIOS if it detects it
