Hi Everyone,

Here some of the parts I will be buying:
- Intel Core i5-4690K
- ASUS Z97-A LGA
- No graphics card yet

I want to buy a "XFX TS Series P1550SXXB9 550W" which is good enough for future upgrades but I'm confused about its Haswell's compatibility. The specification says:

- Haswell Support: No
- Haswell Ready

Can someone please explain what it means? and if not compatible, how will it affect my performance?

Solution
When it is stated that a PSU does not have Haswell support, it simply means that it may not work properly in the low power draw states of Haswell when in sleep or hibernated mode. One of the easier ways around that is to not use sleep or hibernate mode, then you don't get into those ultra low power draw situations. It really has no effect on the system performance or life expectancy outside of the low power thing.

Easiest workaround = Go into BIOS, find your CPU settings, turn OFF the C6/C7 power states.

PS: Most motherboards have it off by default, so you should be covered...but just get in there and confirm that the setting is what it's supposed to be so that you don't run into nasty little issues like having to reboot (as opposed to waking up) your computer from Sleep and losing your work data.
I've had that happen to me several times with my (then) new Haswell build before I figured out that it was the new low-power states that was causing the issue.
