Recently, I bought an EVGA Geoforce GTX 970 Super Clocked ACX 2.0 4GB DDR5 from Amazon, and it was not able to give a signal to my monitor to display.
Both 6-pin cables are connected and DVI and DVI cables are too. Cables are new. When the computer is turned on, the fans on GPU spins and sound of startup comes onto speakers, but no display throughout the whole startup. Just a black screen. BIOS is updated. How do I get the display on my monitor to work?

CPU Intel i5 4690k
Mobo msi Z87 G41 Mate
PSU corsair 600W
Memory corsair vengeance 16gb DDR3-1600
SSD Samsung 840 Evo
HDD western digital Blue 1TB 7200 rpm
CPU cooler Corsair H100i

Have you tried using the HDMI or the Display Port on the graphics card? There might be bent pins on the DVI in which case you should probably RMA the card. Hope you get your problem sorted as soon as possible :)
