CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($36.99 @ DirectCanada)
Motherboard: MSI Z97 PC MATE ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($124.10 @ DirectCanada)
Memory: Patriot Viper 3 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($54.99 @ Memory Express)

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB Superclocked Video Card ($239.99 @ Memory Express)...
Plan on replacing the power supply the CX series from Corsair is one step up from dangerous junk and are known to fail often, sometimes with expensive results.

You will not be playing games above 1080p with an nVidia 660. Its about equivalent to the current day nVidia 950 which was designed for 1080p.

This rig is good enough for 1080p/High settings. OP used rig is still good for 1080p/med-high settings.
For 1440p monitor OP should choose a stronger gpu: Nvidia GTX970 / AMD R9 390.
