Hi Guys! I'm Giacomo,
I write to you because I'm building a new machine for my studio. I create soundscore for films, and so I need a powerful machine (because of the strong requirements of vst and plug ins with Cubase) but also extremely reliable and stable.
I'd like to go with a Gigabyte x99 mobo, and I thought to UD series, in particular with UD4P model.
The fact is that I'm a bit confused because I read that Gigabyte X99 series (especially the UD, all the models but the in particular UD4) seems to have some problems with bios!
I read about loop boot issues, or overclock instability, ecc...
What about that???? Do you know anything about that problems or a fix????

I'd like to go with Gigabyte, but as I just say, I'll work with that machine, and so reliability and stability are first things for me!

I thought to a machine like that:
Gigabyte GA-X99-UD4P
Intel I7-5930K
Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2400
Sapphire R7 250X (probably the vapor-x series, I need 3 monitor)

I'll just use that for my work with large projects in Cubase!

Could it be a good configuration??? What can you say to me about bios stability and the problems of boot loops with that motherboard????

Please give me an advice or I'll never manage to build that pc! :D
Cheers!

Giacomo
