Hello, i am currently looking to upgrade my current pc and need help to pick out what to get. I want a processor that matches the performance of the 970, preferably overclockable for future games. I am currently using 2 monitors: one 1920x1080 and one 1366x768 if that matters. What i think i need is a new motherboard and a new processor. I would prefer to keep the cost below 550 euro. I might use this pc to record/stream in the future, so i7 might be the way to go, but im not sure. All help is gratefully accepted
My current parts are:
Motherboard: Asus P8h77-V LE
CPU: Intel i5 3450
GPU: Zotac GTX 970
SSD: Samsung 840EVO 120GB
HDD: WesternDigital 1TB

Your 3450 is really fully adequate for now for the 970, and haswell is not near enough of a performance jump to warrant the cost.

If you were going to upgrade then I would wait for skylake to come down in price and then do the full cpu/motherboard/memory swap. Then the "juice would be worth the squeeze".

That looks good, but i forgot to say that i live in Sweden so Newegg isnt an option for me. But i found them on a swedish site so its alright. I put together this, the reason that i went way overbudget is because a friend want to buy my old pc so i got some more money to spend. Is it any good?

I dont really think the 3450 is good enough, playing gta 5 on high settings i get 100% CPU usage and the terrain stops loading in so i cant see where im driving. Meanwhile im not even over 3gb video memory in the settings.
