Port Forwarding won't open my ports! (Tried almost everything)

Hi there! First of all I wanted to point out I am 16 years old trying to do some advanced tech stuff here. My parents don't trust me with this stuff so I am doing this secretly.
I needed to forward my ports to play games online like Garry's Mod or start up a Minecraft server so I could play with my friends. So saw many tutorials on how to do this, and I gotta say I know pretty much everything about those ports and all that stuff. BUT! My ports will not open for sh!t! I've tried everything! I have a double router (or a modem connected to the router) The router is Cisco Linksys E2000 and the modem I think is Thomson SpeedTouch. I have tried setting up a Static IP on the router. I did it successfully and it is set. I got Static IP on the PC as well. I pretty much used everything from Command Prompt stuff to Telnet and all that. But IT STILL WON'T OPEN. I am having this trouble for a month now. Yes, I disabled all the firewalls and all the settings that would be blocking the ports. Yes I added an exception in the firewall even though it was disabled. I just want to open the 25565 port. That's it

So if you guys can try to fix my problem that'd be great.

Need to know precisely the model number of the Thomson.

If it is a modem/router, it will complicate the issue. You would need to port forward the Thomson to the Linksys, then the Linksys to the PC. That's the messy way of doing things, but it should work.

Yes I did, on both routers.
And I let them through firewall as well.
Need to know precisely the model number of the Thomson.

If it is a modem/router, it will complicate the issue. You would need to port forward the Thomson to the Linksys, then the Linksys to the PC. That's the messy way of doing things, but it should work.

I did forward the router in the modem, and the PC in the router. I did exactly perfect, I double checked and did this multiple of times but it still didn't work.
It's a Thomson SpeedTouch ST546.

Not sure if you'd be willing to reconfigure the network, but only other suggestion is to put the modem in bridge mode and port forward only the Linksys, or configure the Linksys as an access point and port forward only the Thomson. Either way would be better than trying to port forward through two devices.

It is already in bridge mode.

Modems that are in bridge mode can't be forwarded, so it's not bridged. The public IP address would be assigned to the Linksys if it was configured correctly.

Hopefully someone here will be able to help you out.
