Razer Mamba 2012 doesn't work in wireless mode only wired

I have a Razer Mamba 2012 that works just fine when in wired mode, if I switch to wireless I'm still able to move the cursor and change dpi but it doesn't actually change the dpi. After about a minute in wireless mode the cursor moves very slowly and I'm unable to change it. Razer Synapse constantly says "Please wait for about 2 seconds while changes are applied." no matter how long I let the mouse sit. After talking to razer support the last couple weeks I get the feeling they gave up. Any help would be appreciated.

Personally, I use the Razer Mamba 2012 and I don't really have problems with it. However, I almost always use it in wired mode. In wireless mode, you need to make sure that the base isn't too far away, otherwise it'll crap out. Unfortunately, you really need to make sure the firmware is updated. Do that and your problems should disappear.

If this isn't the case, then the base may be defective. Tell them that and they'll give you a replacement (assuming the peripheral is still under warranty).

The problem persists after reinstalling razer synapse, updating the firmware, and changing distance of the base. I contacted Razer again and asked for a replacement because the mouse is 1 year 4 months old and should have a 2 year warranty. Will update with their response.

I have the exact same problem. Since the synapse program may be the slowest small program in PC history, it takes some time for it to actually find out that the mamba exist in wireless mode. In the meantime the sense-changing buttons works perfectly as intended. The same as in wired mode. After a few minutes, exactly when the slowest program on earth (Synapse) detects the mamba, everything goes to shit. Sense doesnt work, led lights bugs out, and if you change in desperate ways, up-and-down in frustration, it will change several times over the next hour or so. Nothing works as intended in wireless mode, so I have a wireless mouse that doesnt work wireless with the only supportet drivers; Synapse.

This has been going on for months now, and i believe I've tried everything, but with Synapse installed, nothing works besides in wired mode. Nothing to complain over there, but if i'd knew it wouldnt work in wireless mode, I'd rather buy a wired mouse. Updates are rolling in, but fixing this problem doesnt seem very likely. Months are passing, but no fix. Never more Razer (only because Synapse).

Sadly after talking to Razer for the past month or so the only fix they had was replacing the mouse. Very disappointing.

I have the very same problem as described. All works well when on wire, nothing really works when on wireless. But I paid almost 3x as much for this mouse to use it wirelessly. Otherwise I would just buy the DeathAdder.
It took me hours of googling over an extended period of time. I did not find any solution.
Nevertheless, I took the mouse back to the shop. They gave me a new one. Same problem persists.
I am about to bring it back again.
:/

Hey guys, I had the same problem. I just changed the frequency to 500 Hz. from 1000 Hz. That option is in the performance tab when you click on your Mamba in Synapse (the slowest program ever coded) and it solved it for me. I hope to God it works for you guys too. I'm with you guys though, IDK if I will buy Razer again.
