Best i3 cpu for gaming and video rendering?

I'am planing to build a cheap system for gaming and video rendering

but i'am confused for the processor, i5 are out of my budget, i'am planing i3 or pentium g3258 oc

This is one case where an AMD processor will kill an i3 or Pentium, because video editing makes good use of the additional cores. You will really be suffering using a dual-core for that.

I'd go with an FX-8320 if it's within your price range, FX-6300 if not.

i3-4170 retails for $99 @ Microcenter. Fry's has it for $116.99 but I've recently seen them offer several 1 day promotions for $40 off - you have to subscribe to their email marketing to receive a unique promo code.
