I'm building a PC and I'm not sure if the wireless card I'm considering is compatible. Please tell me if it is and if it isn't please suggest an alternative.

The Card I'm Considering: TP-Link TL-WDN4800 450Mbps Wireless N Dual Band PCI Express Adapter
The Router: CG3000-2STATUS
CPU: Intel i7-6700
MOBO: Asus Z170-P D3
GPU: MSI R9 380 GAMING 4GB
RAM: G.SKILL 8GB(2x4)
SSD: SanDisk 120GB SSD
HDD: Seagate 2TB Desktop HDD
CASE: NZXT Noctis 450 Black
PSU: Corsair 750W, CS750M Gold Power Supply
OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Home, 64 Bit OEI

Solution

Yes, using an ethernet cable would be ideal. There may be other wireless adapters that are compatible with window 10.

If the opportunity arrises would it be better to just try and get an ethernet cable that reaches from my router to the pc like this one: ALOGIC 10M CAT5e Network Cable, Black
