T-mobile Galaxy S2 T989 not detecting Tracfone SIM Cards

My t989 says no SIM when I use a tracfone SIM card, after restarting. Works fine with the t-mobile sim, but not detecting either of the 2 tracfone sims I have. Trying to unlock this phone. Help appreciated!

I just tried a Sprint SIM card and it detected it fine.

Did you check with TracFone? You don't unlock the phone by using a different SIM in it, you unlock it with your old carrier then you can use the new SIM. If it's not detecting it at all, nothing you can do on your end.
