I just got and installed a hyper 212 evo. Now i'm ready for overclocking! I understand I need to disable all the power saving options, and slowly increase the cpu clock until a benchmark makes it get too hot or something. What i don't understand is when i should change the voltage, or the northbridge multiplier. Can you help a noob out?

Solution
Go to your BIOS or overclocking program.

Change your Overclock Tuner to D.O.C.P, this will match your RAM/Memory frequency. (or set it manually to the amount of RAM you have i.e, 1600MHz, 1866MHz etc.

Your multiplier works with your bus speed so for example multiplier at x 23.5 and bus speed at 200MHz = 4.7GHz core speed (multiply the numbers 23.5*200 = 4700MHz = 4.7GHz)(Start at x 20 and 200MHz bus speed)

Change HT Link Speed to 2400MHz as that is the highest your mobo can handle.

Also change your DIGI Power settings to High and 130%
Disable Cool n Quiet', SVM, CPU Spread Spectrum.
