What would be the best thing to upgrade in my PC?

So I just got a new graphics card and more RAM last Christmas, and so now I am looking for another component this Christmas. I was wondering: What hardware is causing my PC to be slower than I want, and what is the most important one(s) to upgrade? I have a moderate price range, just don't recommend anything crazy expensive please. Here are my specs:

Intel Core i7-2600 @ 3.4 GHz (this is five years old by the way)
AMD Radeon HD 7850
16 GB RAM
Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit
HDD: WDC WD10EALX-229BA0 ATA Device (also five years old)
ASUS CM6850 Motherboard
CM6850 Mini-Tower Case

Thanks in advance!

get a second 7850 and fill the two sata 6gbs ports on your motherboard with at least 1 ssd. you will have twice the graphics processing power and load lots of programs/games without breaking the wallet. dive into better sound and get a pci based creative x-fi sound card. extrememusic, extremegamer, fatality all use the same pcb with pci. you wont be disappointed. except i dont know how well creative's software will act under win 10. works 100% fine in win 7 tho. i would also match performance with a cpu oc and setup memory at 2400mhz with which was first fully implemented with ivy bridge.

Or sell the first 7850 and get a 280x or 7970 which ever is cheaper

Ok, I guess I didn't specify some things. My processor is not the "k" version, and is therefore not good at overclocking. Also, my cooling system is the default cooling system on this PC, so its not very good. At all. A sound card is definitely not something that is too important to me, but it is a good second thing to get if I can. As for overclocking my memory, I will do that. I like the idea of another graphics card, and I also think that selling mine for a better one might result in the same performance as two of the same but I don't know. I do like the suggestion of at least one SSD, I've been wanting one of them.

2 7850 would be about the same as a 280x but you wouldn't have to deal with crossfire but honestly try for a 290 or 780 and if you get a 290 dont buy one with a reference cooler because they are loud and not keep the gpu cool but if you get a refrence 290 buy a arctic accelero xtreme iii, or you could get a 770 or a 780. A 290 on ebay is around 250 a 770 is around 180 and a 780 is around 250 the 280x is around 190 and the 7970 is around 170 (280x and 7970 are about the same), The 780 and 290 preform about the same but the 780 is cooler temp wise that the 290. Look at benchmarks for all the cards and see which one preforms the best for your budget

Ok, that does make more sense, I didn't think about crossfire. Is there anything else that you would recommend? I'm still wondering whether or not I should get a different processor, since mine is not able to be overclocked to a decent speed.

You could get a 2600k but there round 200 and i don't know if your mobo supports overclocking and if you could give me the exact model of mobo you have i could look it up IF your mobo supports overclocking you could get a 2600k to about 4.5- 4.7 GHZ with good cooling like a h100i gtx or a NH-D14
And if this is your mobo you cant overclock on it https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8H61M_PRO/
You need a z77 or z68 mobo to overclock a 2600k

Well if you get a 2600k (200$) a new mobo (100 ish) a new case (if you get a new mobo you need one because rebuilt pc's have non standard front panel connectors i recommend a nzxt s340 70 ish ) a new gpu (just say a 290 or 780 250 ish) that brings us up to a a whopping 620 ish so just buy a new graphics card and psu and see if the graphics card you go with will fit in your case before you buy
