CPU Heatsink Fan gets in the way of Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM

I have 2 options here:

1. Move the Fan. Downside: Some of the Fan will overhang the Heatsink.
2. Remove the Heat Spreader from any affected RAM Sticks. Downside: This would surely void warranty.

I run my CPU as Base Clock Speed (4.0) and it stays nice an cool as-is. Is it fine for me to move/remove a fan? (Noctua NH-D15 has a Heat Sink-Fan-Heat Sink-Fan layout with both fans being adjustable and moveable). The heatsink itself does not obstruct RAM.

Solution
No, the bulk of the heat rises into the upper areas of the cooler. People have been doing this with the 212 Plus and EVO for years with tall DRAM, believe Noctua even is mentioning it on their page for this and some of their other coolers with adjustable fan heights

Just test, play around a little.Try with just one fan in between the heatsinks.Try with the fan added at the back of the cooler. If your case has enough room could you maybe just set it a little higher.Keep an eye on temps and see what works for you.

Moving the fan wouldn't affect cooling too much? I have plenty of room in my case (Corsair Obsidian 750D Airflow Edition) so I have plenty of room to move it. And I guess moving the fan > removing the Fan.
