My asus T300 has two systems, docking or connected. I don't understand why docking is supplanting connected, as each letter takes 2 secoonds [held down] to type in docking. Why isn't the taichi T300 series connecting; the keyboard is docked to the tablet and all powering wires are in place.
my asus t300 CHI says 'docking' so 2 secs per letter typing speed, but 'connected is istantaneous. Why not connected?

Not sure what your issue is here, there is a delay in typing? Docking and connected both really mean the same thing as you are docked to something and also connected to the dock when you are docked. You may want to put in some details here, sounds like you started in the middle of the issue, towards the end. What is having an issue, what is the issue, and in what cases?
