Any graphic designers here with graphic tablets that can give their opinion?

I want to give a graphic tablet as a present to my girlfriend but I can't decide weither to choose the Wacom intuos pen & touch Medium or the Wacom intuos Pro Small that cost around 50 pound more.

It's like deciding between a larger working surface with less extra functions and specs vs the more functions and spec of the intuos pro small.

Monitor is 27 inch.
But she would like to bring it along with her every now and then in her backpack.

All depends on if she's used to digitizers or not, and if she already has one what type it is. Digitizers are a very personal preference, so it's going to be difficult for anyone to tell you what she will enjoy.

If size is the only issue you are considering, you should watch her while she's drawing. If she uses long lines, the smaller pro model might not work for her style. If she likes to rotate the page as she draws, the touch rotations might feel more natural, but scroll wheel might be faster and more accurate.

Also remember that you need WinTab compatible applications for it to work, photoshop and clip studio paint are highly suggested (clip studio paint is very cheap too)
