Everytime i open my pc it says operating system not found or when it says preparing automatic repair. It shows an error 0xc0000185 or missing winload.efi or ntfs.sys or system. Actually a lot different ones ctrl alt del does the trick sometimes. But its getting worse. Had to do it 100x before i get in. Already tried refreshing my laptop. Did an sfc scan restore default the BIOS. Now i want to restore it to factory default. Hope it works. How do i do it? I cant get in my laptop so i hope theres other ways.

Hi

Before re installing windows from recovery system check the hard drive for physical faults (bad sectors)

No point in trying to re install on a dying hdd

Some laptops have diagnostic partition with the tools needed to test hdd, ram, etc
If not you need a hdd manufacturers diagnostic disk to test hdd

Hirens boot cd has a windows program from western digital (data life guard) which works on most brands of hdd

And a selection of DOS bootable programs for testing wd, seagate, hitachi, Toshiba etc

Bad sectors on a dying hdd is a common reason for the startup repair not working reliably
How old is laptop, is it still under warantee?

I already tried the data life guard. Ran the test. And i got a check mark after it. My laptop is about 3 years now. I dont think its still covered by the waranty. Is my hdd failing? Even though it detects my hdd on bios. Also it has no problems on dskmgr, data life guard, and sfc scan.
