Corsair CX500 R9 380 or GTX 960

First. I know about CX capacitors qualities is bad. I want to know will my PSU power R9 380 or should I buy GTX 960. How long will this PSU last with R9 380 or GTX 960. My Spec:

CPU: A10 7700K
HDD: 500GB
SSD: 120GB
GPU R7 7700K (Igpu currently) R9 380 / GTX 960 (plan)
RAM: 8GB
Motherboard: A88XM GAMING
Optical drive: yes

With the CX 500 I would run the 960.

Should last for quite awhile as the 960 draws less power.

When you move up to a more powerful card that draws more power , the 960 will be fine with the CX500.

If the PSU ever starts making funny noises, that's an indication to change it, but if it's not you're good.

For a 390 or 970, EVGA Supernova B2 and G2, Seasonic power supplies, both good options.

if you are looking to move past the 960, I have to recommend you upgradew the cpu as well. The performance of the 390 or 970 will be held back substantially by your current cpu.
