the CPU power connector on my motherboard looks like this(except female, of course): http://www.nordichardware.com/skrivelser_img/432/psu.8-pin.jpg

and my PSU power connector looks like this: http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/pcie8.jpg

according to my research the connector on my motherboard is an 8-pin EPS power connector and the one on my PSU is a 4+4 pin power connector, but I can't for the life of me find an adapter.

does anyone know where I can buy such an adapter? it needs to be shipped to the netherlands, by the way.

thanks in advance!

I know, but look at the pics. they really do not fit.
anyway, I ordered a pci-e to 8-pin adapter. all is good now.

okay, well even if they do work, they do not fit, so I cannot connect them anyway.
anyway, I just recieved a cable in the mail(a PCIe to ATX12V converter), and I have made progress. the fans connected to the motherboard now spin. however, I get different error codes now, related to the RAM. will make another post about this.
