i5 4690K & GTX 960 vs FX 6300 & GTX 970

Which is better for my liking?
For me, I personally like the FX 6300 and GTX 970 Combo. But I need some feedback

So which performs better?

FX 6300 GTX 970

vs

i5 4690K GTX 960

I am also willing to play these games on ULTRA mostly (if I can.) So 4GB (3.5GB) might be a better choice though huh?

Games I will be playing:
GTA V
BF4
Project Cars
Star Wars Battlefront
Minecraft
CSGO
etc.

I say get an i3 with the 970 and uprade the cpu later.

the amd 6300 line been dead few years. your better off waiting for skylake cpu prices to drop then pull the trigger. the 1151 mb give you a few years of upgrades. the 1150 mb will soon be going end of life with there cpu.

i5-6600k with a GTX970. This will save you a lot of grief down the road. Or get a 2nd hand GTX 780Ti, slight better performance than the GTX970 ~5-10%

i3 with 970 or lower level i5 with 970 is better than amd fc or i5 K edition

Jump on Skylake with an i3 to keep overall cost down, as said you can go i5/i7 later.

Even the 4th gen i3s do really well in gaming with GPU's like 970 and Skylake i3s should be even faster.
