Is an Fx6300 6core good for gaming on like GTA V, Watch Dogs, BF4, and many more others and for multi tasking like video editing while watching a video and for Ethical Hacking like testing my own router for security ............. rather than the FX8350 8core?? I'm curious because the fx6300 6core costs only $99.99 (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009O7YORK/ref=psdc_229189_t1_B009O7YUF6) than the fx8350 8core for $169.99 (http://www.amazon.com/AMD-FD8350FRHKBOX-FX-8350-FX-Series-Processor/dp/B009O7YUF6/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8)??? Please help this is for my PC build and I'm on a tight budget, I just want to know if I'm not wasting money. By the way I chose an EVGA GeForce GTX 950 (http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Graphics-Card-02G-P4-2951-KR/dp/B013WQCC8Q/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1443943514&sr=1-1&keywords=gtx+950)

FX6300 then. Upgrade in the future. Or i3/Pentium if you wanna get a better intel CPU in the future.
I personally would not get a high end AMD CPU like the AMD 9000 series CPUs. :)

It's not better than the 8core especially for multi-tasking. The more cores, the better ability to simultaneously do things.

And lol at ethical hacking your own router. You do that all day everyday? Wink wink.

You would be better off however just buying an i5.

Thanks.

LOL you just combined the title with the description. HAHAHA of course not.

The i5 is pricey, it got a big price gap than the fx8350.

Then perhaps an i5-4460. However, the FX6300 would be a better value, its actually not bad at all for the price. The i5 is better though, Your choice !
If it were up to me, I would take the 4460.
