Hey guys!
I was wondering which gpu should i get for my 9650. I was onto gtx 950 lately and thought this can be a good match with this processor and can run future games with good settings.

And one more thing. I have 8gb ddr2 ram. Does ddr2 effect gaming? Because a friend of mine was saying this does as compared to ddr3. Thanks In advance

P.S: Sorry for my bad english :)

It would be better to give like 10$ more for the 960. And yes the DDR2 is affecting gaming badly cause it can cause stuttering, low fps, or freezes.

Example: Lets say that you got a fast car in gta v and you are driving on the highway very fast. While you are driving your HDD has to load the map that you are driving into and tranfer it into the ram. DDR2 doesnt have big enough bandwinth to transfer the map fast enough see it with that way

Yea i suppose i have to get another mobo that supports ddr3 ram. More over i am tight on my budget if i get a 960, i have to get a higher psu. Well this will cost me. Doesn't this gtx 950 works great as 760? I have already set my mind on it.

Thanks for your answers :)

Well i can't get that in my country.
Should i go for a ram upgrade? From 8gb to 10gb. And get a gtx960 if possible? Or else 950 will also be good choice?
I just don't want stuttering and fps drops

So... I would buy a whole new pc If I were you and wanted to play these games.. Cause the bm knight recomended needs i7 or amd 8core and you have intel quad core which is a little bit better than the i3 and for gpu 760 which is like 960 or oc'd 950. Your PSU would be a problem to OC your cpu and gpu and your motherboard which I think cant OC a cpu and has DDR2...

I just want some decent fps on medium settings.
I suppose this will work. A gtx 950 or 960 and same specs for the cpu. However i can also get a cooler master 500w psu and be on ddr2 ram
What do you say?
