Alright so this is going to be my first time building a PC. I have a budget of $1500, and I need some help choosing parts. Ive done a little research and I would really like to have a 980 ti but i'm not sure if I have the budget for that so I could really use some help picking out parts. And if anyone has some tips on actually putting the computer together that would be very helpful. Thanks a lot.

I don't have any parts and I was hoping to play modern games at 60fps 1920x1080 on high settings

Then you don't really need an 980ti, personally I would pick up a 390(x) or fury (amd gpu's because of dx12 and async) and for the cpu an i5 will do
Ill make you a parts list a bit later

no problem, dont forget to install the os on the ssd, and you can always take a different case, just make sure the cpu cooler and the gpu fit, and for the gpu, look for mail and rebate on 390's there is one of 50$ on the gigabyte variant now.
and don't forget to use the saved money wisely :p
